| Taliban insurgent murders 3 members of his own family in Faryab |

| [Khaama (Afghanistan)] A Taliban bully boy has murdered three members of his own family in northern Faryab province of Afghanistan. According to local security officials, the incident took place late on Sunday night in Qaisar district. Provincial police front man, Syed Massoud Yaqoobi confirmed that the rogue Taliban fighter, Syed Massoud executed two women and a man belonging to his own family. Yaqoobi further added that a child belonging to the same family was critically injured following the attack. He said the main motive behind the execution has not been ascertained so far and police have launched an investigation into the incident. He had a quota to meet and he was running out of time. Faryab is among the volatile provinces in northern Afghanistan where anti-government armed bully boy groups are actively operating and frequently carry out insurgency activities. However, denial ain't just a river in Egypt... incidents involving murder of own family members by Taliban fighters are rare and have not been reported so far. |
