More than one month after Election Day, retired Air Force Col. Martha McSally (R) held on to a narrow lead to claim victory today in Arizona's 2nd District, ousting Democratic Rep. Ron Barber.
A two-week recount in the Tucson-based district increased McSally's margin of victory to 167 votes, according to The Arizona Republic. That number is only a handful of ballots more than the 161-vote margin the Republican had clung to after the November election.
