An army statement says the
Wazoo tribal region.The attacks also destroyed an underground tunnel system and a large underground cache of weapons and ammunition, the statement said.
The army says it has killed over 1,200 gunnies since the start of a massive offensive launched June 15 against gunnies in North Waziristan.
Journalists are barred from the region and it is impossible to independently verify the information.
The operation is aimed at eliminating those Pak and foreign gunnies accused of launching attacks in Pakistain and neighboring Afghanistan.
