#9 They'll keep the Chechens, Rep Guard and other 'experienced' folks in the rear echelon here and where needed elsewhere. Judging by open-source, they're using them to reinforce the territory they already control - in Syria. |

#7 I'm with John. The more, the merrier. I love a happy (for us) ending. Keep bombing the Young Lions of Islam™ in Kobane until it's bloody rubble, then bounce the rubble. |

#3 They apparently have enough 'fodder' to keep the assault up to a certain level. They'll keep the Chechens, Rep Guard and other 'experienced' folks in the rear echelon here and where needed elsewhere. Understanding that ISIL can't give this one up or they loose face, I'll bet that Kobane is the 'final test' for all newbies. Based on recruitment, the siege could continue for some time. If they fail and die, no real loss. There'll be more 'replacements' by morning and the ones left alive will get promoted. |

#1 Never thought they were sending their best fighters, at least not for the past several months. |
