on Friday wrote a letter to President Mamnoon Hussain, urging him to reject the mercy petitions of five condemned prisoners who were convicted for their involvement in terrorism cases.

The convicts include:
  1. Muhammad Ikramul Haq alias Lahori alias Farooq Haider (son of Bashir Ahmed)

  2. Ahmed Ali alias Asif alias Shish Naag (son of Ghulam Abbas)

  3. Mohammad Tayyab alias Sajjad (son of Nabi Ahmed)

  4. Ghulam Shabbir alias Doctor alias Nasir alias Zeeshan alias Sohail (son of Bashir Ahmed)

  5. Zulfiqar Ali (son of Abdul Hameed)The five prisoners hailing from Bloody Karachi
