New airstrikes against ISIL in Iraq, Syria |

![]() Of the 10 air strikes in Syria, nine hit Isis targets near the town of Kobani on the Turkish border, a statement said. The other Syria strike hit an Isis position near Albu Kamal, close to Iraq. The nine air strikes inside Iraq hit Isis forces near Erbil, Mosul, Sinjar and al Asad, the statement said. All the air strikes took place between Saturday morning and Sunday morning. |

#3 Kurds are falling back into the city to allow ISIS to flow in and occupy kill zones. Then coalition aircraft strike the kill zones. The Kurds then move back in to do cleanup sweeps. Kill boxes, exactly the correct strategy. |

#2 YPG and YPJ in Kobane are not reporting every day like in the past. It is believed that the days that they are not reporting progress, are days when ISIS has brought in reinforcements and the Kurds are falling back into the city to allow ISIS to flow in and occupy kill zones. Then coalition aircraft strike the kill zones. The Kurds then move back in to do cleanup sweeps. They are not publicizing this strategy so as not to alert ISIS. |
