| #5 I think the comments on progressives are way off. I think the problem is more that many (not all) progressives can't bear to criticize third world people. One could see this as prejudice against whites in that if white people do something terrible, it's bad, but if non-white people do it they get a pass. Or one could see it as traditional prejudice because not holding non-whites to moral standards is condescending, racist and demeaning. |

| #4 Progressives are all about power. They respect others who demonstrate theirs. They have little time for those who actually wrap themselves up in minor things like 'law'. For progressives, law is what they want it to be at any one time. |

| #3 Saw this yesterday along with a girl being stoned to death for adultery. The liberal's attitude toward these vermin comes under the heading of "the enemy of my enemy is my friend." See, proggie libs hate civilized values and independent liberty more than anything. |
