2015-01-30 |
[DAWN] Former military ruler Gen (retd) ![]() PervMusharraf ... former dictator of Pakistain, who was less dictatorial and corrupt than any Pak civilian government to date ... was denied permission to travel to Soddy Arabia ...a kingdom taking up the bulk of the Arabian peninsula. Its primary economic activity involves exporting oil and soaking Islamic rubes on the annual hajj pilgrimage. The country supports a large number of princes in whatcha might call princely splendor. When the oil runs out the rest of the world is going to kick sand in the Soddy national face... to condole over the death of King Abdullah, DawnNews reported. Sources at the Interior Ministry said that the former president had made a request to travel to Saudi Arabia to offer condolences over the monarch's death. Musharraf, in his request, stated that King Abdullah had been like a brother to him which was why he wanted to travel to the kingdom, the sources said. However Musharraf's request was rejected by the Interior Ministry due to his name being included in the Exit Control List (ECL), which bars people from leaving the country. |
