Your kids and grandkids may need to know Spanish to get things done in the neighborhood, but Mandarin will eventually become the economic and military language (imho).

#8  FYI WORLD MILITARY FORUM > EXPERTS: CHINA MUST BUILD + DEPLOY NOT LESS THAN TWO LARGE AIRCRAFT CARRIERS FOR EACH OF ITS NORTHERN AND SOUTHERN NAVAL FLEETS, IN SUPPORT OF ITS STRATEGIC DIRECTION AS PER ITS FOREIGN POLICIES.

versus

* SAME > PROFESSOR: CURRENTLY RUSSIAN-CONTROLLED KAMCHATKA REGION IS CHINA'S OWN "SOUTH CHINA SEA" IN RELATION TO CHINA'S INABILITY TO TAKE BACK OR SECURE ITS HISTORICAL TERRITORIAL INTERESTS IN THE REGION FROM THE TIME OF THE MONGOL/YUAN-ERA DYNASTY AND PRIOR.

* WORLD NEWS > [Taipei Times] CHINA MAY TRY TO FORCE TAIWAN CONCESSIONS: US EXPERT.

> China's installation of coastal LR ADS for PLA capable of covering all of Taiwan.
> On-going Diaoyu-Senkaku Islands dispute wid Japan.
> Alleged PLA-centric military contruction, buildup on Nanji Islands to north of Taiwan.
> South China Sea contruction of PLA-capable artificial islands on what was once watery shoals + rocks.

---------------------

I'll say again that it behooves China + PLA to determinatively decide its strategic access issues vee JAPAN, ETAL. before US-led GMD-TMD is permanently emplaced + before Japan is allowed to dev or possess NucWeapons on its own.

Iff China's actions in the South China Sea is any example, where China strikes or moves "Where the US = US-NATO/UNO/Allies are NOT", then the possibility or scenario exists where China + PLA may strike agz GUAM andor the CNMI as opposed to Japan, in parallel to PLA attacks agz Taiwan whose conquest remains China's primary focii.

Most of the US Mil Presence in Joint Region Marianas is on Guam, NOT the CNMI, although the JSDF repor has based a detachment on TINIAN + its Cold War base on Iwo JIMA.

THE CLOCK IS TICKING AGZ CHINA AS PER THE ABOVE + WHEN ABE-LED JAPAN WILL SUCCEED IN [slowly but steadily]AMENDING JAPAN'S POST-WW2 PACIFIST CONSTITUTION IN FAVOR OF OVERSEAS JSDF DEPLOYMENTS + "OFFENSIVE" FORCE PROJECTION, ETC.

Personally I'm more concerned about China's Airborne Forces, Submarines + Sub Commandos, INTEL + Fifth Column includ Legal + Illegal Immigration, Expat Labor in support of the PLA MilOps + China's strategic FP.

And Obama's PCorrect SSSHHHH ...CCCCCC Anti-US "red lines" in East Asia-Pacific in support of the Anti-American, Amerikan-led OWG Globalist agenda.

#7  Here is the carrier mock-up on Google Earth, at coordinates (approximate) 30.40N, 114.25E, near Wuhan. Wuhan is where they're building those corvettes for the Indian navy.

#6  We still have land carriers, you gotta see how small they are relative to airfields. There's one at Pensacola and there used to be one outside JAX, may still be there, nothing to see here.

#5  This is a repeat of what they did prior to the first carrier they acquired.

#4  Does it pitch and roll? On the other hand, I bet they can't turn it into the wind, making it a tad bit more complicated, what with a cross-wind, and all.
