| Two DU students beaten over alleged Shibir link |

| [PRIMENEWS.BD] Two students of Dhaka university (DU) have been beaten by a group of fellow students alleging their link with Shibir, student front of Jamaat. The two injured students Mohammad Nasim of Sergeant Jaharul Haque Hall and Mahmudur Rahman of Bijoy Ekattar hall were rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital immediately after the incident early on Monday. Nasim was a second year student of Law department and Mahmudur was a first year student of Economics department. Sub Inspector (SI) Md Kawser of Shahbagh Police Station said following treatment at DMCH, the two students were taken to the cop shoppe. Investigation is on whether they have any link with Shibir, the SI added. |
