| Police find third body in nine days |

| [DAWN] The body of a 65-year-old woman was found from a wooded area opposite Garden Chowk on Sunday. This is the third incident in nine days in which a body of a murdered person was found in the limits of the Aabpara cop shoppe. According to police sources, there were bullet wounds on the woman's stomach. Her body has been shifted to the hospital for an appointment with Dr. Quincy. A police official, requesting anonymity, said crime rate in the limits of the Aabpara cop shoppe has suddenly gone up. "No arrests related to the murders have been made yet," he said. "On January 24, the beheaded body of a man of about 30 was found stuffed in a sack discovered from a nullah in sector G-6/2," the official said. On Saturday, the body of a 48 years old man, named Niamat Shah, was found from the Rose and Jasmine Garden. The victim, who worked in a restaurant, had been stabbed to death with a dagger, he said. "On Sunday another body was found from the area of same cop shoppe. It is a serious matter and police should investigate it thoroughly," he said. |
