Pentagon: Don'€™t Expect U.S. To Do Anything Different After Latest ISIS Brutality
2015-02-06
But don'€™t expect the United States to do anything different in response to the terrorists€' latest brutal act. '€œIt'€™s not tit for tat,'
Actually, Admiral, I would be ok seeing action far in excess of that which ISIS took, but that's just my opinion.
a Pentagon spokesman said on Tuesday.

'€œI can only speak for the United States military -- we haven'€™t made it a point to respond directly to these killings, even when these ...€” when American citizens were killed,'€ Pentagon spokesman Rear Adm. John Kirby told reporters.
Is Yoko Ono available for Diplotainment?

Dunno. Is saying this kind of crap more desirable than resigning ones commission?

#9  ...It might be helpful to remember that with the exception of a few old timers (General Post at USAF and his dislike of A-10s, for example) the O6s and flag officers of today started their careers in the Clinton administration...

#8  Naval combat is like land combat, but more fluid.

#7  They are. It's those among us who have to hold our breath for a long time during mine-clearing ops that have a problem with "on the ground."

#6  And here I thought the Marines were the part of the Navy ;)

#5  you better have a damn good on the ground combat record cause merit comes first

Makes it a bit tough on us naval types, what?

#4  Kirby is a total spokeshole. His latest exchange with Megyn Kelly over that traitorous POS Bergdahl was embarrassing

#3  The next POTUS is going to have to really take a close look

GOs are subject to recall at anytime. I would recommend forming a selection tribunal from the retired ranks (we have enough names to know who those should be) to go through the personnel files of every active 06s and above for a retention or retirement list. You play by politics, you die by politics. Recommendation - you better have a damn good on the ground combat record cause merit comes first.

#2  The Pentagon is NOT #1 on the National Command Authority heiarchy - POTUS Bammer is, just as he was during Benghazi, NOT Hillary etal.

Again, as per the Bammer's infamous "red lines", the POTUS as #1 on the NatComAuth is responsible for the US' direct military response + other, or in the alternate the LACK OF SAME.

#1  This is the sewage you get out of an officer corps that has been carefully purged and the carefully chosen promoted into positions of authority.

The next POTUS is going to have to really take a close look at all of the true believers youknowwho has put into the flag officer ranks.
