| Taliban Weapon Caches Seized in Ghazni and Logar |

| [Khaama (Afghanistan)] National Directorate of Security ...the Afghan national intel agency... (NDS) has seized three weapon catches of Taliban gunnies in Ghazni and Pashtun-infested Logar provinces. A statement issued by the NDS states that during special operations one weapon cache was seized in Andar District of Ghazni province and two others were seized in Baraki Barak and Mohammad Aghe Districts of Pashtun-infested Logar province. Statement adds that 250 Kilograms of explosives materials, 70 different types of Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs), 42 rounds of light and heavy weapons, 140 explosive capsules and other terrorist materials were discovered from these caches. NDS statements usually do not contain the exact date of the incident but they issue statements about recent achievements. Because of an increase of Taliban activities in Ghazni province that is bordering Pashtun-infested Logar in the north-east, the security of this province is weakening. |
