| Youth shot dead while hurling bomb | |

[Dhaka Tribune] A youth has been rubbed out after he hurled crude bombs on a police van in the capital's Matuail early Monday.
Jatrabari police SI Humayun said: "The youth hurled crude bombs aiming the DB police's vehicle." In retaliation, the law enforcers opened fired at him, leaving him bullet-riddled. The on-duty doctor declared the youth dead when police took him to Dhaka Medical College Hospital around 4:45am, he added. | |

| #3 Let me know when "YOUTH" hits 50. 25 years old is no f***ing "youth". This bastardization of language drives me nuts. Read Patrick O'brien's descriptions of what was expected of real youth in the British navy of Napoleonic war time. Now tell me this is a "YOUTH". I'll go sit in a corner now. |
