5 injured in Nilkhet crude bomb attack |

[Dhaka Tribune] Five people have been injured in a crude kaboom in the Nilkhet area of the capital on Friday night. The injured are Musa Rahman, 28, Rashedul Islam, 20, Raqibul Islam, 20, Sumon Ahmed, 25 and Abul Kalam, 45. Inspector Mozammel Huq, in-charge at the Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) police outpost said two unidentified motorcyclists hurled a splinter-packed crude bomb around 9pm in the capital's busy Nilkhet intersection, adjacent to the Dhaka University campus. The injured were having tea at a nearby stall, he said. |
