Armored forces arrive in south and east of Tikrit

[IraqiNews.com] A security source in Salahuddin announced Saturday, that an armored military force arrived in Tuzkhormato district east of Tikrit, and another military force in Samarra district south of Tikrit, in preparation to liberate Tikrit, Dour, al-Alam and Albu-Ajeel.

The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, "An armored military force of more than 60 armored army mechanism arrived in Tuzkhormato district, (90 km east of Tikrit)."

The source added, "Another military force including armored mechanisms, artillery and rockets arrived in Samarra (40 km south of Tikrit)," noting that, "These forces will participate in the anticipated military operation to liberate Tikrit and Dour, al-Alam and Albu-Ajeel."

ISIS abducts 23 civilians from Sharqat, Salahuddin

[IraqiNews.com] On Sunday, a security source in Salahuddin province said, that the ISIS group forces of Evil kidnapped 23 individuals from al-Sharqat after accused them of cooperation with the security forces.

The source stated to IraqiNews in an interview, "Elements of the ISIS group have kidnapped 23 civilians after carried out several raids on houses in the village of Asdirat in al-Sharqat district, located 120 km north of Tikrit," pointing out that, "The group's forces of Evil accused the 23 kidnapped individuals of cooperation with the Iraqi security forces."

"The hostages were reportedly driven to an unknown destination," the source added.
