Bill Clinton speaks half-truths to corruption regarding foreign contributions
2015-03-09
[The Weekly Standard] "We do get money from other countries, and some of them are in the Middle East. And the money that we raised in the last couple of years are for an endowment so all these programs will run forever even when I get to the point when I can't raise the money every year, are from people who have helped us before, and I think it's a good thing," said the former president.
Notice his choice of words, saying he...."thinks it's a good thing," as opposed to saying it is legal.

#8  The only time Bill Clinton ever told the truth was when he finally had to admit that he lied about Monica Lewinsky.

#7  Dear Mr. Clinton:

is: the past tense of "to be", from Proto-Germanic isti, Proto-Indo-European h₁esti*. Akin to Latin est, Sanskrit asti, Greek ἐστί.

*/h/ appears to be the most likely phonetic value for this particular laryngeal.

#5  The Clintons have been doing this a very long time. The lefty rubes must not have caught on yet as Hillary is about 60% in polls over other left-wing candidates. They must either not know or are O.K. with corruption.

#4  Meanwhile in the office down the hall, the Climatists are running their 'guilt by association' against anyone who doesn't receive government funding, ie they've been bought. Amazing how they use the same game to push their agendas. One set of rules for me, another set of rules for thee.

#3  I read that paragraph as saying the endowment to keep the thing going after he can't bring in funding is the good thing. It ignores the corruption factor -- and yes, the legality --altogether. In other words, typical Bill C.

#2  He says Is Is. I say ISIS.

#1  It all depends upon what you mean by "Is."
