Zaur Dadaev, charged in Nemtsov murder, may have been tortured |

...not to be confused with individual rights,mind you... activist says that one of two men charged in the murder of vocal opposition leader Boris Nemtsov showed signs of torture and may have offered a confession under extreme duress, the BBC reported Wednesday. Russian state-controlled media reported earlier this week that Dadaev had confessed his guilt in a verbal statement, though the judge residing over his first hearing said that confession was not made in court. |
