MoD: Army forces kill 54 terrorists in Anbar

[IraqiNews.com] The Ministry of Defense announced Monday, that 54 ISIS elements, including 3 big shots, have been killed in operations by the army forces in al-Anbar province.

The ministry said in a statement obtained by IraqiNews, "Based on accurate intelligence received by Anbar Operations Command, security forces have managed to kill 50 terrorists, including 3 top leaders, among which was one identified as Ismail Walid in the area of Albu-Hais," pointing out that, "The gunnies were meeting in Albu-Hais area near the communications tower."

In al-Haiytaween area, Iraqi forces burned one of the houses and killed 4 Lions of Islam who were hiding in it," the statement added.

Deadliest ISIS attack on Ramadi foiled, says Golden Division

[IraqiNews.com] Deputy commander of the Golden Division in Anbar province, Brigadier General Abdul Amir al-Khazraji said Tuesday, that his forces have been able to repel the deadliest four-day long ISIS attack on the city of Ramadi, indicating that the attack was conducted by jacket wallahs using vehicle bombs and bombs.

Khazraji informed IraqiNews.com, "A force of Counter-Terrorism, in cooperation with the local police and the tribal fighters, was able to repel the deadliest ISIS attack in Andalusia regions and the officers and teachers neighborhoods in downtown Ramadi," noting that, "The attack lasted for four days."

Curfew lifted in Ramadi, says Anbar Council

[IraqiNews.com] On Monday, Anbar Provincial Council announced, that the comprehensive curfew that had been imposed for five days on the city of Ramadi, was lifted today.

Member of Anbar Provincial Council, Azal Obeid, stated to IraqiNews in an interview, "The security authorities have decided to lift the curfew that lasted for five days in Ramadi on the back of violent festivities between the security forces and ISIS forces of Evil in different areas of the city."

"Life has come back to normal in the market areas of the city," he added.

BOC: 2nd phase of Sudani operation starts in Karma on 3/17/2015

IA kills 7 terrorists in artillery strike in al-Karma

[IraqiNews.com] On Tuesday, Baghdad Operations Command said, that 7 holy warriors have been killed in a security operation by the army forces in the district of al-Karma.

Baghdad Operations said in a statement obtained by IraqiNews, "The army forces conducted an artillery strike on one of the ISIS hideouts in the district of al-Karma, located 53 km east of Ramadi," pointing out that, "The operation resulted in killing 7 holy warriors and destroying two vehicles that belonged to them."

Noteworthy, Baghdad Operations Command announced yesterday, that the army forces have gained full control over the Bridge of al-Shiekha, located in northwest of al-Karma district.

A Planes throw leaflets on Heet district in Anbar telling citizens to evacuate

[IraqiNews.com] ”The Iraqi planes have thrown leaflets on Heet district asking the civilians to evacuate the district in order to start a military operation to liberate it from the control of the Lions of Islam of the ISIL," security source told IraqiNews.com.
