Egyptian navy has fired shots at Iranian warships
2015-03-27

Egyptian navy has fired warning shots at Iranian warships near Bab el-Mandab Strait.

Early four Egyptian naval vessels to secure Gulf of Aden, Reuters reports citing Suez Canal sources, reported www.dailystar.com.lb.

Four Egyptian naval vessels have crossed the Suez Canal en route to Yemen to secure the Gulf of Aden, maritime sources at the Suez Canal said Thursday.

The sources said they expected the vessels to reach the Red Sea by Thursday evening.

Warplanes from Saudi Arabia and Arab allies struck the Shiite Muslim rebels fighting to oust Yemen's president on Thursday, a gamble by the world's top oil exporter to check Iranian influence in its backyard without direct military backing from Washington.

The Saudi-led Firmness Storm coalition has imposed a naval blockade on Bab El-Mandab strait which connects the Red Sea with the Indian Ocean, sources told Ahram Online.

The Saudi navy's western fleet has also secured Yemen's main ports including Aden and Midi.

#10  --I was too young for anything until coming in from recess the cool kids were doing Dana Carvy impressions. Also, carter was a demi-hero where I grew up. Lots of unlearned.

Considering the total destabilization of its west and the insert of the brunder moose Morsi, who it seemed within a month had cancelled all agreements with Israel and intended to war with Ethiopia over the dam project, it looks like not only Egypt shot the moon with Sisi.

#9  Hummm interesting swksvoIFF, getting back to Carter times again. There was an article in Real CLear History today about Jimmuah trying to screw up bilateral talks between Egypt and Israel prior to Sadats vist. Jimmuah wanted his star-turn at Geneva. But the Joooos and Egypters gained up on his ass and made peace.

#8  What happens when Iran shoots back?

Obola has so f****ed the situation that there seems to be no where for the US to turn.

The only resolution I see is one of two choices:
1) The Muzzies enmasse basically do a freeze in place and bring in the Russians and/or Chinese to try and cut their Gordian knot.

2) They go full on WWI type conflict in the mideast ( see Turkey, Jordan, Iran, several if not all of the 'stans) leaving Israel to bunker down and the US to bleat helplessly from the sidelines.

What am I missing?

#6  And officially condemned the avenge air strikes cc the mass execution murder of Egyptian citizens.

As well as an unhappy emoticon campaign cc prosecution of moose brunder members.

All beginning with the people rising against Morsi and the installation of Sisi giving his highness a leaky anus.

Taking the strait with four ships disguised as an anti-piracy patrol - balls. Of course, they don't just teleport over there, it takes some time to muster, and then to muster in disguise, that is a couple moves ahead.
