| UK police arrest 16-year-old girl on terrorism charges |

[Ynet] British police tossed in the slammerDrop the rosco, Muggsy, or you're one with the ages! a 16-year-old girl on suspicion of preparing terrorist acts following a police raid at her Manchester home, the Greater Manchester Police said Sunday. The girl has not been named and she has been sprung on bail until a May 28 hearing. She was arrested "on suspicion of engaging in conduct in preparation for acts of terrorism" as part of an ongoing investigation. |

| #2 Greater Manchester Police Two teenagers have been arrested as part of an investigation involving the North West Counter Terrorism Unit, Greater Manchester Police and Lancashire Constabulary. On 2 April 2015, following the examination of a number of electronic devices, the North West Counter Terrorism Unit and officers from Lancashire Constabulary executed a warrant at an address in Blackburn, Lancashire. A 14-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of preparing for an act of terrorism under Section 5 of the Terrorism Act 2006. Subsequently, on Friday 3 April 2015, officers from the Tactical Aid Unit and North West Counter Terrorism Unit executed a warrant at a house on Clee Avenue, Longsight. A 16-year-old girl was arrested on suspicion of engaging in conduct in preparation for acts of terrorism. Both have been bailed until 28 May 2015. This is not related to the nine individuals stopped at the Turkey/Syria border. |
