Dana Perino explains why guys in Washington are undateable

[Washington Post] I had many friends that I hung out with a lot, but that dating scene in D.C. was pathetic. (It still is, right, ladies?) I remember thinking that there just weren't that many men I was interested in around Washington. Most of the guys didn't look like they'd ever worked outside a day in their lives -- soft hands, limp handshakes, pale skin, and pudgy middles. The good-looking ones were either already hitched or married to their political ambition with little senses of humor. It was slim pickings for a single woman.

#6  Well, when I was working in DC the pickings were pretty good. A lot of sexually frustrated attractive women every where and the odds were good.

If you liked women, were not a narcissist, and knew how to treat a woman, you did not have to worry about female companionship.

I think she's right, I dunno, I never had a problem finding a date or a bed fellow when I lived there.

#4  From late teens to 60's and older most men are not dating. The women are too self centered. 20% of the men they are interested in dating. Problem is They must have money and looks in that order. So liberated women now what do they turn to ? Drugs in a big way. I have asked many women if they think they are a cold bitch and they smile and say "Don't you know all women are cold bitches!" with a smile of honor. Two have not responded that way. One a model said as she held my hand, "I'm a cool bitch". That is the case from 19 to early forties. Then in their fifties they say "Oh, they shouldn't say that". Generally they are unhappy even alone. They are leaving their men and now they are leaving their children. They are dying at a much younger age and dementia has increased dramatically in women. Men are still men. Not so easy to program them in my opinion.

#2  Based on the single DC womyn I've met over the years, Ms. Perino's statement works both ways.

The young men at the Tomb or the Barracks might not be too interested in what's available locally there either, P2K.
