US provides ten thousand Iraqi soldeirs with equipment, trainers

[IraqiNews.com] US embassy in Baghdad stated on Tuesday, that the United States has provide a daily shipment of arms and ammunition to support the Iraqi forces in expel the ISIS group's Lion of Islams, and indicated that it provided 10,000 soldiers with gear and trainers.

Spokesman of the embassy said in a press statement received by IraqiNews.com, "The United States continues to provide a large amount of military equipment, weapons and ammunition to support the Iraqi security forces in expelling ISIS from Iraq," explaining that, "The United States' mission in Iraq is proud to partner with the Iraqi security forces, and praises the recent success achieved in the final Tikrit battle," noting that, "ISIS defeat in Tikrit is a further evidence of the continuing trend of its military defeat in all parts of the country."

"The United States will continue to stand by all Iraqis until ISIS is defeated," he added.

Coalition strike kills 22 ISIS fighters in southwest of Kirkuk

[IraqiNews.com] On Tuesday, a security source in Kirkuk province said, that 22 ISIS fighters were killed in an air strike by the international coalition in southwest of Kirkuk.

The source told IraqiNews, "This evening, warplanes of the international coalition conducted an air strike on sites for the ISIS group hard boyz in a number of villages in the district of al-Hawija, located in southwest of Kirkuk,
... a thick stew of Arabs, Turkmen, Kurds, and probably Antarcticans, all of them mutually hostile most of the time...
" pointing out that, "The air strike resulted in killing 22 elements of the group."

"The air operation was based on accurate intelligence received by the coalition forces," the source also added.
