Except for a tiny handfull of Jews everthing there is very Islamic... conflict after his meeting with prime minister's adviser on foreign affairs, Sartaj Aziz ...Adviser to Pak Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on National Security and Foreign Affairs, who believes in goodjihadis and badjihadis as a matter of national policy... , at the Foreign Office on Wednesday. Addressing a joint presser with Aziz, Zarif said Pakistain and Iran should cooperate to solve the crisis in Yemen. "We need to work together to find a political solution," Zarif said during a visit to Islamabad in which he was expected to urge Pakistain to reject the Saudi request to join a military operation against Houthi ...a Zaidi Shia insurgent group operating in Yemen. They have also been referred to as the Believing Youth. Hussein Badreddin al-Houthi is said to be the spiritual leader of the group and most of the military leaders are his relatives. The Yemeni government has accused the Houthis of having ties to the Iranian government, which wouldn't suprise most of us. The group has managed to gain control over all of Saada Governorate and parts of Amran, Al Jawf and Hajjah Governorates. Its slogan is God is Great, Death to America™, Death to Israel, a curse on the Jews... forces in Yemen. Responding to a question, Zarif said his talks with ...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire.... , Oman, and now Pakistain revolved around four major lines: "ceasefire, humanitarian assistance, intra-Yemeni dialogue and broad-based government." |
