| 11 People Injured in Blast in Parwan |

| [Tolo News] At least 11 people, including three local coppers, were maimed in a mine blast in northern Parwan province on Saturday, local officials said. The incident took place in Ghorband valley of Sayagerd district. According to officials, explosives had been packed in a vending cart. The explosives were detonated when a police vehicle passed by, District Governor, Mohammad Sayed Sediqqi said. "The police have started investigations," Sediqqi said. "The victims have been taken to the hospital in the capital of Parwan. No one has been killed in the attack," he said. As yet no group including the Taliban has grabbed credit for the blast. Sayagerd is one of the insecure districts in the province and Taliban murderous Moslems frequently target the Afghan cops in the area, said Sediqqi. |
