[Sun Star] Three Philippine soldiers were killed and seven others injured in an encounter with members of the New People's Army in Davao City on Wednesday. Military spokesmen said the troops and militants from the NPA's Pulang Bagani Command Southern Mindanao Regional Committee fought for 45 minutes in the Calinan district.
