An unidentified source inside the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Sudan said Sunday that negotiations for release of two unidentified Russian nationals kidnapped last January, have reached an impasse, according to a news report posted on NovoRusInform news service.The two Russian pilots were working for the United Nations and the African Union, and were taken January 29th after the minibus they were traveling in was stopped and surrounded by unidentified armed suspects in six vehicles.
The two pilots were flying for UTair, which was under a United nations contract for transportation services.
