| KP LB polls claimed 18 lives, is this 'new Pakistan': PM |

| [NATION.PK] Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif ... served two non-consecutive terms as prime minister, heads the Pakistain Moslem League (Nawaz). Noted for his spectacular corruption, the 1998 Pak nuclear test, border war with India, and for being tossed by General Musharraf... today expressed grief over the deaths of as many as 18 people in the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa ... formerly NWFP, still Terrorism Central... (KP) local body (LB) polls and asked if this is the 'new Pakistain'. He said that different incidents which happened during the LB elections claimed lives of at least 18 people, adding this number of people never even died in general elections. The PM criticised Pakistain Tehrik-e-Insaf ...a political party in Pakistan. PTI was founded by former Pakistani cricket captain and philanthropist Imran Khan. The party's slogan is Justice, Humanity and Self Esteem, each of which is open to widely divergent interpretations.... (PTI) and remarked if this is the 'new Pakistain' that the opposition party promised. The PTI government is playing with the lives of the people, he added. He further said that PTI accused Pakistain Moslem League-Nawaz (PML-N) of rigging the General elections 2013 and now the party went ahead and rigged LB polls in Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa. |
