Al-Qaeda Fights ISIS in Libya over Leader's Killing |

[al-Alam] Al-Qaeda-linked Nasr Akr, an Al-Qaeda-inspired holy warrior, was assassinated along with his aide in the Eastern town of Darna. The Shura Council of Darna's hard boyz announced his killing on Wednesday, blaming it on ISIS Takfiri ...an adherent of takfir wal hijra, an offshoot of Salafism that regards everybody who doesn't agree with them as apostates who must be killed... holy warriors. The killing sparked heavy fighting, leaving at least nine ISIS The ISIS seized control of Darna last year. The ISIS group began as an Al-Qaeda affiliate, but later fell out with the terrorist network. |

#1 I say we need to make the various factions put on different colored jerseys so we can make some sense of this hash. Dang, and the Libyans seemed like such rational people when I was there. This looks more like a parliamentary debate in South Korea than a country. |
