| Car bomb attack kills 10 people in Iraq |

| [Rudaw] Authorities in Iraq say a boom-mobile blast near a market has killed 10 people in the capital, Baghdad. Police officials say the attack took place Sunday night when the boom-mobile hit a market and shops in Baghdad's Qahira neighborhood. At least 20 people were maimed in the attack. Several cars and shops were burnt in the attack, police said. Medical officials in nearby hospitals confirmed the casualties. All officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak to the media. Nobody immediately grabbed credit for the attacks. Baghdad and outlying areas see near-daily bombings. Many of them are later claimed by the Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more.
