| Two bombings in Egypt's Sinai kill policeman, injure three | ||

| [AnNahar] A policeman was killed and three others injured in two kabooms at dawn on Wednesday in the restive Sinai Peninsula, Al-Ahram Arabic reported. Unknown assailants remotely detonated a roadside kaboom targeting a passing armoured vehicle in the town of Al-Arish in North Sinai. A police officer, Major Mohammed Salah, was killed and two recruits maimed in the kaboom. Another bomb went off earlier nearby, injuring another policeman. The blasts caused cracks to nearby houses and led to a fire in an oil store, eyewitnesses said.
