#6 An armored van with a C.I?W.S. Then you got trouble. Or a private 14" railway gun, that would also be troublesome. |

#5 The van in Dallas looked like it was just an upgraded document delivery vehicle, common back when checks moved between banks. |

#3 FNYT. Armored vehicles have been available to citizens for a long time now. Civilian vehicles custom fitted. Hell I watched a show on TV a couple years back about how they do it. I'm sure they are not cheap, and I bet the fuel bill adds up quick, along with additional maintenance on suspension and tires, transmission, etc. Suppose Snoop Lion rides around in an off-the-rack vehicle? Form over function nitwits. |

#2 The SWAT team didn't seem to have any trouble killing the guy inside the "armored truck." Adds a new twist on "are you feeling lucky?" |

#1 There's a local guy here that has a no kidding chrome plated '60's armored truck. He's leased it long term to a condom company as a marketing promo item. Logos painted on the sides and everything. I am totally serious here. |
