| 3 Kidnapped Police Found Beheaded in Faryab |

| [Tolo News] Three coppers who were recently kidnapped in northwestern Faryab have been found beheaded, officials said Thursday. Faryab highway police commander, Hayatullah Surkhabi, said the incident took place Wednesday in Qaisar district. According to Surkhabi, the coppers were kidnapped by the Taliban Lions of Islam when they were on their way home. However he said the slain coppers had left their checkpoint with any permission from their commander. The bodies were found on the road linking Ghormach and Qaisar districts, he continued. |
