Wazoo's Alwara area, said a statement issued by the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR).The statement further said some important holy warrior commanders were among those who were killed, adding that holy warriors were seen to be dragging the bodies of some of the dear departed while fleeing the area.
This information, however, could not be independently verified as news hounds have limited access to the restive agency.
The attack took place in Alwara area of North Waziristan tribal region, where the army has been waging a major offensive to clear holy warrior hideouts since June last year.
