[DAWN] One of the two alleged hit mans who had beat feet from police custody here on Wednesday was killed in a police encounter early on Thursday, while the other one was juggedBook 'im, Mahmoud!
The suspect had beat feet from Gulabahr cop shoppe, while the police high-ups had ordered an inquiry against SHO Gulbahar. Two guards the SHO were also thrown behind bars.
A Gulbahar police official identified the slain hit man as Muneeb, a resident of Wazir Bagh, while Ishaq, a resident of Mohallah Baqar Shah, was arrested.
The official said that the police raided premises on the Ring Road where one of the suspects was killed in exchange of fire with the police. Another police official said that the encounter took place in Afridi Ghari and police also recovered arms and a cycle of violence from their custody.
Police had arrested the suspect for killing a policeman, Janaat Gul, earlier this month.
