holy warriors were killed in Anbar province in military operations against the group's bases and personnel.
"As a result of festivities between the Iraqi joint forces in Anbar with ISIS, 50 bad boyz were potted and 35 landmines and booby traps were defused," read the ministry's announcement.
The announcement added that the military campaign for the liberation of Anbar will not stop until the province's areas are entirely cleared of Islamic State holy warriors.
The Iraqi government commenced military campaigns against the Islamic State in Anbar on July 13, but no significant gains have been made by the Iraqi army despite the help of coalition
