| 3 school children killed as rocket lands in a school in Paktika |

| [Khaama (Afghanistan)] At least three school children were killed after a rocket landed in a school in southeastern Paktika ...which coincidentally borders South Wazoo... province of Afghanistan amid fierce clash between the Talibs and Afghan cops. According to local government officials, the incident took place on Thursday afternoon in Sar-e-Rawza district. The provincial education department front man Mohammadullah Hemat said a rocket landed in Hayat Baba High School during shootout between the security forces and Talibs. Hemat further added that the victims of the incident were all children aged below 12 years and another school child was also maimed in the incident. It is yet not clear who fired the rocket but the local residents are blaming the Talibs saying that the The Talibs group has not commented regarding the incident so far. Paktika is among the relatively volatile provinces in southeastern Afghanistan where anti-government armed bad boy groups including the Talibs and murderous Moslems from the Haqqani terrorist network are actively operating in a number of its districts. |
