| Four Policemen, 13 Taliban Insurgents Killed in Jawzjan Clashes |

| [Tolo News] At least four coppers and 13 Taliban Death Eaters were killed in festivities in northern Jawzjan province on Monday night, local officials said. In addition, 13 other coppers were maimed. The incident took place in Qushtapa district of the province after a number of Taliban Death Eaters attacked an outpost and started festivities, which continued for several hours, provincial governor Lotfullah Azizi said. "Eight other Taliban Death Eaters were also injured in the festivities," he said. The injured coppers were transferred to a nearby hospital, said officials. No group including the Taliban has grabbed credit for the attack. |
