Building of Turkish daily, broadcaster attacked in Istanbul

's eastern provinces in just three days, began protesting the media group which includes daily Sabah and private broadcaster ATV while in front of their common building late Sept. 8.

Sabah reported the group attacked the building with stones and water bottles and tried to enter it, while adding police had difficulty preventing the protesters from entering the building.

The Turkish Journalists' Association (TGC) released a written statement condemning the attacks on Sabah and ATV, and also a separate attack on daily Hurriyet on the same night.
