| Al-Hashed al-Shaabi announces the death of ISIS Wali of Baghdadi District [IraqiNews] Anbar – The commander of Buraq forces, one of the factions of al-Hashed al-Shaabi forces, Watiq al-Fartusi announced on Wednesday the killing of ISIS Wali of al-Baghdadi and two of his his aides in military strike western Anbar. Fartusi said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, "The joint forces of al-Hashed al-Shaabi and the Iraqi army were able to kill the so-called Abu Humam al-Shami (Wali of Baghdadi district) and two of his aides in a military strike in Albu Hayat area in al-Baghdadi western Anbar." Fartusi added, "The strike were carried out in accordance with accurate intelligence," pointing out that "the security forces and al-Hashed al-Shaabi forces control Baghdadi district and its surrounding areas." Security forces foil suicide attack, kills 7 ISIS members east of Ramadi [IraqiNews] Anbar – A security source in Anbar province announced on Wednesday, that a security force has foiled a suicide kaboom by a booby trapped vehicle and killed seven members of the ISIS organization east of Ramadi. The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, "A security force foiled a suicide attack by a vehicle driven by a jacket wallah who tried to target defense lines of the security forces in Husaybah area east of Ramadi," noting that "the force blew up the vehicle and killed the suicide bomber by the Russian missile system." The security source, who asked not to be named, added: "The attack was followed by another attack by ISIS elements and confrontations occurred using all kinds of weapons, resulting in the death of seven members of the organization." |
