| White House announces Netanyahu to visit November 9 |

[Ynet] Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will visit the White House on November 9, President Barack ObamaRepublicans can come along for the ride, but they've got to sit in the back... 's press secretary announced on Wednesday. White House Spokesman Josh Earnest recently said an invitation was planned, but this was the first official confirmation that the meeting would indeed occur. According to the press secretary's statement, the two will discuss "regional security issues", including Iran, relations with the Paleostinians, and "the need for the genuine advancement of a two-state solution." |

Re the Nov. 9th meeting with Obama. It coincides with another date: there is also a message in the timing of the announcement. November 9 is the anniversary of Kristallnacht, the “Night of Broken Glass,” when the Holocaust is considered to have begun in 1938 with the destruction of Jewish stores and the burning of synagogues across Germany. |
