| Masked attackers throw Molotov cocktail in public bus in Istanbul |

| [Hurriyet Daily News] Three masked people attacked a public bus in Istanbul's central Beyoglu district with Molotov cocktails late Sept. 16. No casualties were reported though the bus was damaged in the attack. The three masked attackers threw a Molotov cocktail inside the bus and left a package in front of it before they escaped the scene. The incident took place at 9:00 p.m. Sept. 16 on Piyalepasa Street in Beyoglu when the attackers stopped the bus which runs between Sisli and Yenikapi on the European side of the city. After the passengers left the bus, the attackers threw a Molotov cocktail inside and broke the windows before fleeing. A team of bomb experts were called in to defuse the package, which was found to contain newspapers rather than explosives. |

| #1 Someone with a molotov is grounds for being shot. Someone looks my way with one, I would open fire. If you've EVER been on fire, you're not going to give someone a chance to light you up with one. |
