[Sun Star] Two members of the Philippine National Police were killed in an attack by suspected New People's Army miltants in Poblacion, Cortes, Surigao del Sur on Friday morning.Some 40 heavily-armed militants waited for a mobile patrol to pass by near Cortes Police Station and strafed it, killing two police officers wounding others.
