[Rudaw] A Kirkuk city judge and three of his bodyguards were rubbed out by gunnies Sunday morning, Kirkuk police said. "A number of unknown gunnies have shot Kirkuk's court judge Ibrahim Khamis and three of his guards on Quds Street in Kirkuk, ... a thick stew of Arabs, Turkmen, Kurds, and probably Antarcticans, all of them mutually hostile most of the time... " a Kurdish police official identified only as Razwan told Rudaw.
The gunnies expeditiously departed at a goodly pace of the shooting, said the police. Kirkuk governor Najmaldin Karim called the act an liquidation and described Khamis, "as a dear judge of our city who worked hard to enforce the law and justice and serve the people of Kirkuk," | |
