Car Bombs in Yemen Hit Aden Hotel and Building Used by Persian Gulf Troops |
2015-10-07 |
NYT (Sorry) - AL MUKALLA, Yemen ‐ The Islamic State extremist group claimed responsibility for a series of bombings in Yemen's two largest cities on Tuesday that killed at least 25 people, including troops from the UAE who are fighting Yemeni rebels. The Qasr Hotel in Aden serves as headquarters for Yemen's internationally recognized government. According to a Yemeni government official, the buildings were struck by two unspecified missiles. However, an Arab Coalition military official said that the explosions were caused by two suicide vehicle-borne improvised explosive devices (SVBIED). Why is ISIL attacking the forces that are attacking its enemy Iran? Mad dogs me-thinking. |
