| Syrian Army Continue Advancing in Aleppo Countryside |

| [ALMANAR.LB] Syrian Army units established full control over Tal Sabe'en village and the area surrounding it in the eastern countryside of Aleppo province and over al-Safeira in Aleppo's southern countryside. Earlier, an army unit killed all 20 members of a terrorist group in Kaferkar village in the southeastern countryside of Aleppo province, a military source said. Another army unit, the source added, killed a number of bully boyz and destroyed their weapons and ammunition in al-Sheikh Lutfi village on the southeastern outskirts of Aleppo city. The army units, in cooperation with the popular defense groups, carried out operations against terrorists' dens and positions to the east of al-Safeira, Tal Alam, Tal al-Sous, al-Amara and Deir Hafer, leaving many bully boyz dead and their vehicles destroyed. In the western countryside of Aleppo, an army unit left all members of a terrorist group dead or injured as it targeted it in al-Mansoura village to the west of Aleppo city, SANA reported. The army units targeted in direct hits against hideouts and gatherings of al-Nusra bully boyz in al-Ameriyeh, al-Rashidin and Karm al-Jabal neighborhoods in Aleppo city, inflicting heavy losses upon them. A terrorists' hideout in Nazlit al-Zibdiyeh and a locally-made cannon (nicknamed hell cannon) in al-Mash'had neighborhood in Aleppo city were destroyed. |

| #1 If the map is correct, the objective appears to be establishing a LOC along IS-held territory and seal off and take control of the northwest corner of the country. |
