IDF soldiers apprehended a Paleostinian man armed with a knife and an improvised bomb Tuesday morning next to the Gilboa Crossing between Israel and the West Bank, south of Afula, the army said. Soldiers seized the suspect at the gas station next to the checkpoint. He was tossed in the calaboose Yez got nuttin' on me, coppers! Nuttin'! and taken for an interrogation after the weapons were found on his person. In the wake of the attack, the army announced that the Gilboa Crossing would be closed until further notice. The crossing, situated on Route 60 north of the Paleostinian town of Jenin, has seen several attacks in recent days. Most of the nearly daily West Bank attacks have occurred along Route 60, a main north-south artery. The majority of incidents have been concentrated in Jerusalem and near the southern West Bank city of Hebron. | |
