| From Weather Channel - nice map Cyclone Megh, another Arabian Sea tropical cyclone, is intensifying and heading toward Socotra Island Sunday and may track to mainland Yemen roughly one week after Cyclone Chapala made an extremely rare pass through the region, triggering destructive flash flooding... Cyclone Megh has steadily strengthened since Friday into a high-end Category 2 equivalent storm as of Saturday night (U.S. mainland time), with an eye becoming more apparent in infrared satellite imagery. |
