2015-11-28 |
![]() Saddam Jailani, a follower of Abu Sayyaf leader Alhabsi Misaya, was arrested in the Port of Jolo. No other details about Jailani were made available, except his group was behind the brutal beheading of Malaysian national Bernard Then who was kidnapped in May this year along with Thien Nyuk Fun who was freed by the militants. The capture of Jailani came a day after troops seized sex Abu Sayyaf automatic rifles in Bonbon village in Patikul town. Civilians alerted the military to the weapons hidden by militants under Radulan Sahiron. Security forces also captured two members, Menu Maganaka and Rex Bacana, of the insurgent group Pentagon in Kabacan town in North Cotabato province. |
