| Five Egyptian policemen killed in North Sinai attack |

| [AlAhram] The forces were killed in a firefight with person or persons unknown in Al-Arish Five Egyptian coppers were killed late on Wednesday when person or persons unknown opened fire on them in Egypt's North Sinai, the interior ministry has said. The unknown gunnies opened fire on security forces standing post in a southwestern district of the scenic provincial capital of Al-Arish. Forces exchanged fire with the assailants, resulting in the death of three coppers and two low-ranking personnel, the ministry added in a statement on Thursday. Three coppers were also maimed in the attack. Security forces have cordoned off the scene of the attack, combing the area in search of the perpetrators. | #8 Actually, Sisi was given free and clear access to Sinai by Israel, seeing his true hearted actions. He is doing well with this. For what it is, I AM happy with Israel. |

| #3 Early in the al Sisi presidency, Egypt volunteered to go into Gaza and clean it out. For understandable reasons the Israelis were not enthusiastic about allowing Egypt's army free passage. |
